Kyle Lauchmen has been named the Male Athlete of the Week, for the week ending September 16.

In the men's soccer team's 1-0 win vs. Philadelphia University on Saturday, September 15th, Lauchmen anchored a defense that only allowed six shots; those shots resulted in Manhattan goalkeeper John Ciano having to make only two saves.  Lauchmen made several key tackles and organized a very tight defense in front of the Manhattan goal, especially during the last 15 minutes of the game when Philadelphia pushed many players into the offense.  During that time, Ciano did not have to make a save.  In fact, Ciano did not have to make one save in the entire second half.
