Edison, N.J. (January 29th) ? Manhattan College's Malin Marmbrandt has been named the MAAC Indoor Track and Field Women's Performer of the Week.
Marmbrandt, a sophomore, took first place at the Princeton Relays in the women's long jump with a Met-qualifying mark of 5.62 meters. She also took second in the triple jump with a Met and ECAC-qualifying mark of 11.96 meters. Marmbrandt is the defending MAAC outdoor long jump champion and placed second last year at both the MAAC indoor and outdoor championships in the triple jump.
The MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track Championships will be held on Friday, February 22nd at The Armory Track & Field Center in New York City.
