RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Fans are encouraged to come out to Draddy Gymnasium on Saturday at 4 p.m. to get a sneak preview of the 2009-10 Manhattan men's basketball team when the Jaspers host Kean University for their first of two exhibitions this preseason. Admission is free and open to the general public.
Manhattan will tune up for the regular-season once more on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in its second exhibition with Mercy College in Riverdale. The Jaspers' begin their campaign on Saturday, November 14 with its home contest versus NJIT at 2 p.m.
The Jaspers look to build on its fourth place MAAC finish and 16 wins last season. Manhattan returns 10 letterwinners, including 2009-10 Preseason All-MAAC swingman Darryl Crawford.
