RIVERDALE, N.Y. - A total of 93 Manhattan College student athletes have earned a place on the Metro Atlantic Athlete Conference 2009-10 Honor Roll for their achievements both academically and athletically, the conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, an athlete must hold a grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale and be in his or her second year of athletic eligibility. The Honor Roll is open to both full-time and associate members of the MAAC with athletes represented in all 24 sports that the conference sponsors.
Overall, 1,054 student-athletes from the MAAC's 10 full-time and 12 associate members were honored, led by a conference-high 167 selections from Marist.
