RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan College Athletic Department released its 2012 spring "JasperVision" Schedule on Wednesday. The broadcast schedule features home contests for the Jaspers men's and women's Lacrosse team as well as softball and baseball. JasperVision is the exclusive online live and on-demand video destination for all Manhattan athletics.
The schedule begins on Saturday, March 31, when the Manhattan men's lacrosse team hosts Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) foe Detroit at 1 p.m. at Gaelic Park. Other Men's Lacrosse games on the schedule include and out of conference matchup with Wagner on Tue., April 3, at 7 p.m., Sat., April 7, when the Jaspers host VMI at 1 p.m. The program will also honor its 2002 team on their 10th Anniversary of their conference championship on that day. The final Men's Lacrosse game of the year will be Sat., April 28 at 7 p.m. against Siena. It will also be the final home game in the careers of seven seniors.
Also at Gaelic Park, the Manhattan women's lacrosse team will have home games against Marist on April 4, as well as Iona on April 18. All JasperVision games will begin 15-minutes prior to the scheduled game time with the "Jaspers Pre-Game Show".
The Manhattan softball team will have four doubleheaders broadcasted on JasperVision. On Saturday, April 21, the Jaspers host conference opponent Canisius beginning at 12 p.m. before taking on Iona the next day in a twin bill starting at 11 a.m. Niagara then visits Gaelic Park on Sat., April 28, at noon. Senior day for Manhattan, Sat., May 5, sees Fairfield come to Riverdale with Game 1 set to start at 12 p.m.
The defending MAAC Champion Manhattan baseball team will see seven games broadcasted from Van Cortlandt Park in 2012. All Jasper baseball games will be audio only broadcasts via www.GoJaspers.com. The opening broadcast of the year will be Sun., April 1, when Manhattan hosts Iona at noon. Other home contests feature Niagara (April 6), Sacred Heart (April 10), along with series against Saint Peter's (May 12-13) and Siena (May 17-18) to conclude the regular season.
JasperVision and MAAC.tv packages are available in 12-month, four-month or one-month subscriptions. A 12-month JasperVision subscription costs $59.95, while a four-month subscription is $39.95 and a one-month subscription is available for $12.95. Single games can also be purchased for $5.95. If fans choose to sign-up for the conference package, the prices are $69.95 (12-month), $44.95 (four-month) and $15.95 (one-month). All packages are set up for automatic renewal.
