WEST WINDSOR, N.J. - Manhattan College's Alyssa Rosello (Garden City, N.Y.) and Christina Ton (Milipitas, Calif.) have been named to the All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Second Team, the conference announced on Friday night.  The duo was recognized for its play at No. 3 doubles.  Rosello was also named Second Team All-MAAC at No. 6 singles.

Rosello and Ton were doubles partners for most of the season, playing together in the No. 3 position in 10 of the Jaspers' 18 matches.  Against Saint Peter's on April 12, the tandem notched a clutch 8-2 victory that clinched the doubles point in an eventual 4-3 Manhattan win.  Rosello also won the decisive singles match against the Peahens, securing the victory with a 5-7, 6-4, 6-1 triumph over Jessica Nowogrodzki.  Overall, she posted a 6-5 singles record, including a 4-4 mark in dual matches.

Rosello is the first Jasper named to the All-MAAC squad since Jennifer Fowler was a Second Team selection at No. 1 singles in 2006.  She and Ton represent the first doubles team in program history to earn All-MAAC accolades.

Ton was also selected to the MAAC All-Academic Team for the second consecutive season.  She was joined on the All-Academic squad by Lili Johnson (Tulsa, Okla.), who was honored for the first time.  To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have completed at least two semesters at their institution and have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.
