LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Junior Matthew Creamer improved upon his opening day 76 with a one-over 73 on Saturday to move into the top 15 after day two of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) tournament on Saturday. His combined score of 149 has him in a tie for 14th as is the low number for Manhattan.
Chris Calabro followed his round one performance of 77 with an 80 on day two placing him in a tie for 25th in the individual ranks. Pat Bibaud also went backwards on the second day of action shooting a nine-over 81 while senior Robert Kehoe stayed the course as he followed up his Friday score of 80 with the same result on Saturday. As a team, the Jaspers are currently in 7th place with a team score of 625, trailing the leaders Loyola (Md.) who have a combined effort of 577 and sport the individual leader in Jay Mulieri. Niagara's Michael Jiggins is tied for the top spot after a three under 69 to place him at minus three for the tournament. The third and final round will begin on Sunday, April 29, at 7:30 when Bibaud tees off in the first pairing of the day from Disney's Magnolia Golf Course.
