Complete List of AVCA Academic Award Recipients
RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan College volleyball team was presented with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Academic Award for its success in the classroom during the 2011-12 academic year. The award is given out annually to all college and high school programs that maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher.
A record 533 teams were honored this year. Manhattan and Marist were the only Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) institutions among the 102 Division I women's programs recognized. Six Jaspers were named to the 2011 MAAC All-Academic Team.
