WEST HAVEN, Conn. - On the second day of action at the Wilson/ITA Northeast Regional Championships at Yale University's Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center, Lili Johnson (Tulsa, Okla.) and Diana Lorentz (Garnerville, N.Y.) of the Manhattan College women's tennis team took the court.  The duo teamed up in the first round of doubles play, while Johnson also competed in the singles draw.

In doubles, Johnson and Lorentz took on Penn's Mollie Anderson and Emily Wolf.  Johnson and Lorentz put up a fight before Anderson and Wolf emerged victorious, 8-5.  A few hours later, Johnson was back on the court in the first round of the singles main draw.  Playing against Syracuse's Emily Harman, Johnson was broken at 4-5 in the first set.  Harman then took the second set easily, posting a 6-4, 6-0 victory.

With the loss, Johnson moved into the consolation singles draw.  She received a bye in the first two rounds of the consolation draw and will face Fairleigh Dickinson's Jessica DeCarlos in the third round at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
