RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Manhattan College has placed a total of 104 student-athletes on the 2008-09 MAAC Academic Honor Roll, it was announced today by the conference office.  The women’s track & field team was Manhattan’s most honored squad, securing 20 selections to the honor roll.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher and have completed at least two years of athletic eligibility.  Manhattan was one of four MAAC schools to place over 100 student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll.  Overall, 990 student-athletes from the MAAC’s 10 full-time and seven associate members were honored, led by a conference-high 173 selections from Marist.
