RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan College Athletic Department regrets to announce the passing of longtime Jaspers fan Fred "Freddy Sez" Schuman.  Schuman died Sunday afternoon at the age of 85.

Known for his clever homemade signs and frying pan that he would bang with a spoon to rally the fans, "Freddy Sez" was a staple at Manhattan basketball games for many years.  He was also a common sight at Yankees games, and he became a famous figure at Yankee Stadium.
