CSCAA Scholar All-American Teams
RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan College women's swimming team has been selected as a Scholar All-American Team by the College Swimming Coaches of America (CSCAA) for the Spring 2011 semester. This marks the 29th consecutive semester that the Lady Jaspers have earned CSCAA recognition, dating back to the spring of 1997. The Scholar All-American Team award is handed out by the CSCAA each semester to all college swimming & diving squads that have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Manhattan had a team GPA of 3.46, which equaled Cleveland State for the 17th-best mark among all Division I institutions. Ball State had the highest team GPA, 3.60. Manhattan's women's squad has been recognized by the CSCAA every semester since Walter Olsewski took over as the program's head coach. Olsewski enters his 16th season at the helm in 2011-12.
