College Sports Madness Honors Lindsey Loutsenhizer
RIVERDALE, N.Y. - College Sports Madness has recognized Manhattan College senior forward Lindsey Loutsenhizer (North Huntingdon, Pa.) as its Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 1. Loutsenhizer averaged 15.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in wins over St. Francis (NY) and Sacred Heart to conclude non-conference play.
Against St. Francis (NY) on Dec. 28, Loutsenhizer posted her second double-double of the season. She finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds in the 50-37 victory. Loutsenhizer also match a season-high with five steals against the Terriers. Two nights later against Sacred Heart, she tallied a game-high 18 points, going 7-for-12 from the field and 3-for-4 from three-point range in the 62-50 win. Loutsenhizer, who currently ranks 11th on Manhattan's all-time scoring list, leads the Jaspers with 13.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this season.
