MAAC Tournament Single-Session Tickets Now On Sale

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The MAAC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships single-session tickets go on sale today.  Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com,  all Ticketmaster outlets, the MassMutual Center Box Office, www.maacachusetts.com,  or charge by phone at 800.745.3000. A total of 18 Men's and Women's games will make up the MAAC Basketball Championships at the MassMutual Center March 1-5.

All-Session Passes are available for the Championships.   An All-Session Pass allows access to all 18 games, a one day pass to the Basketball Hall of Fame and other perks. All-Session Pass prices are $110, $250 (Club Seats) and $400 (VIP). 

"We are on the edge of the Championships tip-off.   We are 28 days from the first game and I am excited to announce single-session tickets for both the men's and women's games can now be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets," says Global Spectrum's Matt Hollander, General Manager of the MassMutual Center. "I am proud of the support we have received from our community leaders. It is our collective hope that we receive the same support and excitement from the rest of the community."

In addition to 18 Basketball games, the following activities will be taking place during the MAAC Championships:

Fan Fest: A family-friendly activity zone, a place for fans to get away and enjoy some fun and games during the championships.

Bounce to the Arena: Kids will start their Bounce to the Arena at the Basketball Hall of Fame and dribble their way to the MassMutual Center on Sunday, March 4th.

College Fair:  Open for High School Students to come hear a speaker on the importance of attending College.  Representatives from the 10 MAAC Schools will be in attendance to share information about their campuses. Friday, March 2nd

Bus Brigade:  Springfield school students will be bussed in to come and hear the importance of school and staying on track during High School. Monday, March 5th

The 2012 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships is a Division I College Basketball event.  The crowned men and women's champions will receive an automatic bid into the NCAA Division I Basketball Championships.  The MAAC consists of ten schools located in the Metro New York, upstate New York, and Baltimore areas. The Championships will take place March 1-5, 2012 at the MassMutual Center, Springfield, MA.
