BRONX, N.Y. - Two members of Manhattan College's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) joined with SAAC representatives from each of the other nine Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) schools to volunteer at Special Olympics New York's NYC Basketball Regional & Aquatics Tournament on Saturday, April 14.
Bridget Latino (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) of the women's swimming team and women's track & field athlete Deena Sena (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) represented Manhattan at the event, which was held at Fordham University. The SAAC volunteers assisted with the NYC Basketball Regional by running the game clock and scorekeeping, among other duties.
