Women's Lacrosse Named IWLCA Academic Squad

RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan women's lacrosse team was recognized earlier this week as an Academic Squad for the 2012 season by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).

The Jaspers were one of 42 Division I programs to earn the recognition by having a combined team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Among the other schools to recieve the honor were conference rivals Canisius, Fairfield, and Marist.
