Manhattan Sits 7th at CCSU Invitational

RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan men's golf team sits in seventh place out of 11 schools after round one of the CCSU Blue Devil Fall Invitational. Senior Matthew Creamer is in sixth place individually after the first day.

Creamer is pacing the Jaspers with a four over 75 as the team shot a combined 310 on Saturday. Paul Toohey and James Edgeworth both shot 78 as well while Chris Calabro turned in a 79.

Saint Peter's leads all schools with a combined score of 300 followed by Sacred Heart, Mount St. Mary's, host Central Connecticut State, Iona, and Laval.

The tournament is being held at Wethersfield Country Club in Wethersfield, Conn. and will conclude on Sunday.
