RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan men's basketball team will appear on national television at least five times during the 2012-2013 campaign on the ESPN family of networks as part of the MAAC broadcast schedule. The Jaspers host four of their five televised contests at Draddy Gymnasium, including a doubleheader with the Manhattan women's basketball team on Jan. 25.

Three of the Jaspers' five televised games will air on ESPNU and Manhattan's two other broadcasts can be seen on ESPN3. Manhattan's contest with Rider in Riverdale on Jan. 10 will be the first live game on ESPN3.

Manhattan's men's and women's home doubleheader on Jan. 25 against the defending MAAC champions will also be carried on an ESPN platform. The Jasper women will host Marist at 4 p.m. on ESPN3, a rematch of last year's televised contest when Manhattan snapped the Red Foxes 34-game MAAC win streak. Then at 7 p.m., the Manhattan men take on Loyola for the first game of their regular-season set, a series which was decided by a total of three points in 2011-2012.

Manhattan fans can catch the Jaspers live in action for three of the next six games, beginning with an ESPNU telecast on Feb. 1 at Siena. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. at the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y. The Jaspers then enjoy back-to-back home broadcasts. An ESPN3 contest on Feb. 7 against Canisius tips at 7 p.m. Manhattan and local MAAC rival Iona will be the next broadcast on Feb. 15 on ESPNU from Draddy Gymnasium.

ESPN will select the BracketBuster matchups, as well as which games will be televised in early February. Manhattan and Fairfield are slated to meet on March 1 in Riverdale and could be selected as one of the MAAC's two "wild card" games to air live on ESPN2 or ESPNU.

ESPN3 will also broadcast eight games of the MAAC Tournament from the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass. The women's semifinals and men's quarterfinals on March 9 and men's semifinals on March 10 will be available on ESPN3. The championship games on March 11 will also be available to a national television audience. The women's game is schedule for 12 p.m. on ESPNU and the men's final is set for 9 p.m. on either ESPN or ESPN2.

All home contests that are not televised, as well as select MAAC road games, will be webcast live at JasperVision.tv.

ESPN3 is available online at WatchESPN.com via affiliated internet and cable providers, as well as the WatchESPN app for smartphones and tablets and ESPN on Xbox LIVE. Games on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU are also accessible through WatchESPN to Time Warner Cable, Comcast, Verizon FiOS TV and Bright House Networks subscribers.
