NEWARK, N.J. - Both the Manhattan men's and women's swim teams capped off impressive weekend returns to action as they traveled to NJIT for matchups with both the Highlanders and St. Francis (NY). The Jasper men (5-1) were victorious over both NJIT, 54-41, and the Terriers, 68-27. Meanwhile, the women (3-2) took on only St. Francis and came away with a 112-85 win.

The 200 yard medley relay squad of Kerry Schuermann, Brianne Grant, Paige Raccioppi, and Vanessa L'Heureux started off the women with a victory finishing in less than two minutes. Raccioppi would pick up an individual win in the 200 yard Individual Medley before getting another victory in the 100 yard butterfly. L'Heureux (100 yard free), Grant (100 yard breaststroke) and Kim Geissler were also multi-winners on the day.

Geissler would finish first in both the 1000 yard and 500 yard freestyle helping Manhattan to the dominant win over the Terriers. She would later join Michaela Schatz, Nicole Maher, and Melanie Tam in the 400 yard freestyle relay that also took home a win. In total, the Jaspers won eight of the eleven events against St. Francis.

For the men, they also had a solid day in the pool beginning with a win in the 200 yard medley relay. The squad of Cullen Balcanoff, Dennis Daly, Lance Neuendorf, and Robert Varieur finished in 1:40.56 seconds, just ahead of their teammates Scott Isaacs, Mike Mackay, Chris Parker, and Mike Scire. Varieur also came away with a win in the 200 yard freestyle while Mackay was victorious in both the 200 yard IM and 100 yard breaststroke while Neuendorf won the 100 yard butterfly.
