Ericksen Shares MAAC Rookie of the Week Honors
Ericksen averaged a double-double last week, posting 12.0 points and 10.0 rebounds in contests against Army and Oakland. She also averaged 3.5 blocks and 3.0 steals in the two games.
In the Jaspers' loss to Army on Tuesday night, Ericksen recorded her second double-double of the season. She shot .636 (7-of-11) from the field, matching a career-high with 16 points to go along with a career-best 12 boards. Ericksen also notched three blocks and two steals against the Black Knights. Then in Manhattan's 47-43 victory over Oakland on Saturday, Ericksen tallied eight points and eight rebounds, while also posting career-highs with four blocks, three of which came in a 65-second span to start the second half, and four steals.
She leads the Jaspers in both scoring and rebounding this season. Ericksen averages 11.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
Manhattan (2-6) has a week off before returning to action with a matchup at defending Northeast Conference champion Sacred Heart (4-4) next Monday at 7 p.m.
