RIVERDALE, N.Y. The Manhattan men’s basketball team will travel to Williamsburg, Va. for its ESPNU BracketBuster match up with William & Mary on Feb. 21. The Jaspers were among a pool of 102 schools to participate in this seventh annual event. Game time is set for 2 p.m.

As part of the contractual agreement, Manhattan will host the Tribe next season at Draddy Gymnasium. William & Mary is a member of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). The Tribe are 6-15 this season and 1-10 in the CAA. Manhattan is 1-1 all-time versus William & Mary, but they have not met since the 1990-91 campaign.

The ESPNU BracketBuster concept, named because of the success of teams from the participating conferences in the NCAA Tournament over the past years, provides participating programs with an opportunity to play top non-conference opponents approximately three weeks prior to Selection Sunday. All 10 members of the MAAC participate in the event and each pairing was determined by ESPN in conjunction with the conferences.
