Reilly Announces Staff Reorganization

Riverdale, NY - Manhattan College Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Marianne Reilly has announced staff reorganization.

* Kathryn Mirance has been promoted and will now serve as the Associate Athletic Director, Business Affairs/Senior Woman Administrator.

Mirance, who arrived at Manhattan in January of 2016, has spent the last two years as an Assistant AD for Financial Services while also serving as the Sport Administrator for Women's Lacrosse. Prior to her arrival at Riverdale, Mirance held the position of Assistant Athletic Business Manager at The George Washington University Athletic Department.

A former women's lacrosse student-athlete at American University, Mirance is also a member of the Women Leaders in College Sports.

* Julian De La Rosa has been named the Director of Athletics Facilities and Event Management.

A 2012 graduate, De La Rosa was a three-year letterwinner with the Jaspers' baseball team and a member of Manhattan's MAAC Championship teams in 2011 and 2012.

De La Rosa has spent the past three years as the Assistant Facilities & Events Director after joining the Athletic Department in 2013 as a graduate assistant, assisting in managing the 2015 and 2016 MAAC Baseball Championships. He is also responsible for all aspects of game administration at Manhattan's athletic events.

* Kevin Ross will now serve as the Director of Sports Communication and Media Relations.

Ross will focus on the development of staff as the department prepares to enhance its multimedia production and will continue to advance the social media presence of Jasper Athletics.

* William Aloia, Assistant AD for Compliance & Life Skills (SAAC), will receive additional duties with sport administration oversight and the implementation of the Jasper JumpStart Program. 

Designed to enhance each student-athletes' college experience, Jasper JumpStart will begin with freshmen orientation and continue with integrated campus programming through graduation.

Additionally, three assistant coaches have been elevated to full-time status.

Emily Considine of Women's Lacrosse, Brad Bolton of Women's Soccer and Cat Clifford of Softball all have assumed full-time duties effective July 1.

Founded in 1853, Manhattan College is an independent, Lasallian Catholic, coeducational institution of higher learning offering more than 40 major programs of undergraduate study in the areas of liberal arts, business, education and health, engineering and science, along with continuing and professional studies, and a graduate division. Manhattan College sponsors 19 intercollegiate sports and competes in the MAAC.
