RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Senior attacker Chrissy Gutenberger and freshman goalkeeper Christina Fiorinelli were honored with weekly awards by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference on Tuesday night.

Gutenberger (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland) was named the MAAC's Offensive Player of the Week after scoring six goals and added an assist in Manhattan's 13-12 over Bucknell on Saturday afternoon. The senior leads all Manhattan scorers with 10 total points including nine games and currently ranks 10th in the country in goals per game (4.50) while being tied for 32nd in total goals.

Fiorinelli (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) earned her first MAAC Rookie of the Week honors by setting a school record for freshman with 19 saves, including two in the final 90 seconds, to ensure her first career win with the Jaspers. Her 19 stops were one short of the program single-game record and gives her 22 on the year. Her 11 saves per game is tops in the conference in games played through Feb. 26.

The Jaspers (1-1) will be back in action on Wed., Feb., 29 when they travel to Staten Island for a 3:00 p.m. tilt with Wagner.
