RIVERDALE, N.Y. -
The Manhattan baseball team enters its weekend conference series with Saint Peter's (19-29, 9-9 MAAC) sitting in the driver's seat for the program's 10th straight berth into the MAAC Tournament's four team field. The Jaspers have sole possession of first place in the conference with a 12-6 record, holding a one game edge over second place Canisius. Manhattan plays its final six games of the regular-season at Van Cortlandt Park where the team has posted an unblemished 12-0 record this season and has the fourth longest active home win streak in NCAA Division I.

Manhattan (23-24, 12-6 MAAC) begins this final stretch on Saturday when the Jaspers host the Peacocks for a doubleheader at 12 p.m. Then on Sunday, the squad will celebrate Senior Day with the ceremony beginning at 11:45 a.m. before the final game of the series. The Jaspers welcome Siena to Van Cortlandt Park on Thursday and Friday.

The Jaspers have won four of their last five conference series and won two of the three games at Fairfield last weekend. Manhattan has won 20 of its last 21 games against Saint Peter's, including 10 straight at Van Cortlandt Park as the Jaspers have not fallen to the Peacocks at home since May 2004.
