Manhattan to Participate In Hofstra’s “Spike Out Breast Cancer” Tournament

RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan College volleyball team will be participating in the annual "Spike Out Breast Cancer" Spring Tournament at Hofstra's Physical Fitness Center on Saturday, April 10. The tournament gets underway at 9 a.m., and all proceeds will go to support 1 In 9: The Long Island Breast Cancer Action Coalition.
In addition to the Lady Jaspers, Albany, Army, Columbia, Fairfield, Fordham, Iona, Saint Peters, Seton Hall, St. John's, Yale and host Hofstra are scheduled to compete. Geri Barish, the president of 1 In 9 will speak, and there will be various raffles and a silent auction throughout the event.
