Rettig Named Assistant Director Of Sports Medicine

Riverdale, NY – Manhattan College Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Marianne Reilly has announced that Jaclyn Rettig has been promoted to Assistant Director of Sports Medicine and will work primarily with the Men’s Basketball program.

Rettig joined the Jaspers’ Sports Medicine staff prior to the season and has worked directly with the cross country and track & field programs.

“I am excited to have Jaclyn join our staff in a full-time capacity,” said Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Athletic Performance Douglas Straley. “I have been thoroughly impressed by her knowledge and the clinical skills she has displayed during the time she has spent working with our cross country and track and field programs.”

A 2016 graduate from Towson University, she earned a degree in athletic training and is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer while also holding Functional Movement Screen and CPR/First Aid certifications.

During her time in Maryland, she worked in Tigers' Athletic Training department for three years while also assisting the training staff at the Gilman and McDonogh schools.
